directx boulder dash variation

My brother is getting the hang of Fruits too!
The other day he tried to install the game of his old laptop, but unfortunately he can't play, seemingly because the graphic card doesn't support 32 bit colors..? I dunno, but to me it would appear that 256 color should be sufficient?

Fruits accepts any of 15bit, 16bit, 24bit and 32bit graphics modes with a resolution of 720x480 or 800x600.
256 colors is not enough, cause some of the graphics are in trueColor. Some are not yet, but in the long run I want convert everything to trueColor.
