I know it's a little strange ritual......but as you know Delphi 6 has a limit on the length of the lib path. I have many components installed and my path limit is reaching max. Your install adds a seperate path for each component....My way I can put all the components (BPL) into one folder and use only 1 pathmadshi wrote: Why don't you simply start the 2.1.7.0 installer and let it take care of everything? So perhaps you should now better keep using your strange installation steps...
