Do you have any plans to support ARM Processor?

Post by kimjw0820 »

Hi Madshi :)
I am using MadcodeHook well.

Recently, the Microsoft Surface Pro X ARM processor product has been released.

However, the current architecture cannot support ARM processors.
Do you have any plans to support ARM Process?

thank you.

Hi there,

I'm sorry to say, but unfortunately atm I don't have plans to support ARM, because it would require a major rewrite and I'm currently busy with other projects.

Hi madshi
I know you already replied to this question, but it was 9 monthes ago and a lot of things happened since then. Apple M1 ARM processor becomes more and more popular. Windows 11 ARM version was released. Our product (and many others) faces the need to be compatible with ARM. We've being using your great library for years, but now we need to make some decisions. Is support of ARM in madCodeHook a question of time or maybe money? Should we plan our releases and budgets waiting for it? Or support of ARM will definitely never happen and we need to start looking for alternative?

Thank you

I still don't have plans to support ARM, at least not any time soon, possibly never. So if you need ARM support, you may need to look elsewhere, I'm sorry.
