Driver Signing page - broken links

Post by darianmiller »

I was considering purchase and was looking over requirements for use.

From your help page on Driver Signing: http://help.madshi.net/mchDrvSign.htm

There are two broken links :
"you need a matching cross certificate from Microsoft ("msCross.cer"), which you can download here."
"You will also need two tools, both of which are part of the "Windows Driver Kit", which you can download here."

Possible replacement links:

FYI: Seems they have moved this functionality to the Partner Portal. "The legacy (Sysdev) dashboard has been retired. Use the Partner Center Hardware dashboard for your hardware tasks."

Link to register for the hardware program:

Hello,

Thanks for reporting the dead links on the site. Microsoft has changed many things over the years concerning the hardware dev center/dashboard/portal and does in fact often move areas of their site to other areas, rename areas etc. It's sometimes hard to follow. If you decide to purchase madCodeHook and need any signing help please feel free to start a new thread, we also have quite a bit of useful information on the forum already as well pertaining to exactly this. Many members here are knowledgeable and can help out
