Hello madschi!

Rio is out now. I also see that you just released a madExcept 4.0.21 a few days ago.

Do you have an aprox. release date for a madExcept version that will support Rio?

If it will only take a couple of weeks, then I will skip 4.0.21 and wait for the upcoming release.

Thx!

That would be great. I'm only waiting for your library to get started with Rio :)

I'm just chiming in to the 'hopefully soon' .. I'd love to start working on my project which is compiler dependent on the madExcept logic. Hope you find time and wish you well.

Do I need a new key? When I try to install it, I get a message that I install madExcept 5 without a commercial license... does it not accept my current .key file anymore?

I've explained it on my homepage. See link in my previous comment. You may need to press F5 to refresh the homepage text.

Basically, if your license is less than a year old, send me an email and you get a free 5.0 key file. If your license is older than a year, then you need to enter subscription to get access to 5.0. Subscription is just 30% per year (30% of the price of a new license), so it's much less than a typical upgrade, which usually costs 50-60%.

All right, I will get the license/subscription once I figure out how to tell the page to purchase that I am outside Europe and have nothing to do with VAT... it always add VAT to it.

Sorry about that. Not sure what's the shop doing there. It can be weird sometimes. But I think this used to work? I'm not sure if there's anything I can do on my side.
