Screenshots and Display Scale & Layout

Postby Plumothy » Wed Mar 14, 2018 3:39 pm

I have tested uploading of bug reports and screenshots to Mantis on my development PC, an old laptop and a new laptop with a high-resolution touch screen.

I ask for "capture our application only" and "256 color compressed png" format.

The screenshots that are taken on the development PC and old laptop are good. But the screenshots on the new laptop are always truncated.

This is because madExcept seems to grab only part of the image if the laptop's Display Settings "Scale and Layout" is set higher than 100%. For example, when I have Scale and Layout set to 150% the image is only 2133x1200 pixels, instead of 3200x1800 pixels.

These DPI settings are handled by the Windows very differently, depending on which exact OS version we're talking about. So which OS does your laptop (which makes problems) run on exactly?

Ok, thanks, I'll try to get this fixed for the next build.
