madZip question

Post by neji »

Hi all,

is there a way to compress files in the standard zip format using madZip (or another Unit from madCollection) ?

Yes and no. The current official version doesn't support it, but the latest beta does. However, it's a minimal solution only, which doesn't support folder structures. You can just zip a number of source files into one zip archive without any directory structure.

that's all that I want.... I just need to put some jpeg files together in an zip archive.

Is there a downloadlink to this beta yet?

I think it should be contained in this download:

http://madshi.net/madCollectionBeta.exe

Look for a function named "Zip" in the "madZip" unit.
