problems installing mad!!!

Post by spavkov »

I have delphi 7 and its not trial version.

Im running it on Win2000.

I installed mad and everything goes fine, but when i start delphi 7 on
madshi page of component pallete i have only
MadExceptionHandler component.

and nothing else...

is this normal...????

one more thing... how to customise MadExeption handler ???
i cannot find the configuration dialog that i can see on help web page...?

am i stupid or something is wrong here...

when i start application and raise an exception i get MadExceptionHandler dialog instead of system dialog and it works brilliant....

only i cannot customise it...

Please help!

It's normal that you only see that TMadExceptionHandler component and none else. madCollection is not about visual components. Please check out the documentation about what all the mad* packages do and how to use them. There're also some demos, especially for madCodeHook, which you can try.

The customization screen in available in Delphi's "project" menu, right above the "project options".

Tnx man ALOT !!!!

:redBalloon:

I just want to tell you that MAdExcept is brilliant piece of code, there is nothing i have seen like it until now for delphi....

keep up the good work...

Im considering buying your package only beacuse of MadExcept...

Are you planning to keep updating it for future releases of Delphi???

Thanks!

Yes, currently I do plan to support future versions. Delphi 2005 just got out and madCollection already supports it.
