Windows Defender.

Post by SteveG »

Hi Madshi,

I have been using Mad products for many years. I'm not sure when I last updated them so there may be new features I'm not aware of. I wanted to ask if there is a way to read Windows Defender settings. I'd like to programmatically check the settings for any potential issues, ie. that could cause my software to not work correctly. For example, I had an issue recently where Windows Defender was preventing log files from being written to a Public folder.

Thanks.

I've no experience with Windows Defender. But a google search leads to this which looks promising:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/micros ... -worldwide

Can't help with that, though. Too much other stuff to do...
