RAD Studio 10.3 Support
I know it has just been released, but when do you think you might be releasing an update to support it?
Re: RAD Studio 10.3 Support
Hopefully early next week.
Re: RAD Studio 10.3 Support
That's really quick, awesome!
I have installed it today so if you need some testing done just give us a shout.

I don't mean to be impatient...but, any updates? Even if it is just beta support for now, I can work with that.
many thanks!

Re: RAD Studio 10.3 Support
As always, you are the best!
Re: RAD Studio 10.3 Support
Hi, I paid for the upgrade to 5.0.0 yesterday for our company, but did not receive a new key. How long does it take usually?
Re: RAD Studio 10.3 Support
I'm sorry for the delay. You should get your new key within the next 1-2 hours.

Re: RAD Studio 10.3 Support
Seems like "Report resource leaks" doesn't work any more after RAD Studio 10.3 have been installed.
To verify this I've installed madCollection v5.0 on 3 different PCs. Then ran simple app with obvious resource leaks on each of them.
Delphi Professional 10.3 Rio is installed on two of them and one with Delphi Community Edition 10.3 Rio
"Report resource leaks" doesn't show nowhere.
Even more curiously that this report is no longer displayed even on Delphi XE2 that installed on same PC.

Re: RAD Studio 10.3 Support
It works for me. Can you try giving "Everyone" NTFS read & execute rights on the madCollection folder? Maybe that helps?
Re: RAD Studio 10.3 Support
I gave all rights for "Everyone" and fo my account to madCollection folder. But it doesn't help.madshi wrote:It works for me. Can you try giving "Everyone" NTFS read & execute rights on the madCollection folder? Maybe that helps?
More than I uninstalled all Delphi versions from one of PC. Then I installed Delphi 10.2.3 Tokyo and previous version of madCollection 4.0.20 that deffinetelly worked before.
But now it is also unable to show "Report resource leaks"
I start to suspect that you write something to Registry that make this conflict.
And I gues that if I reinstall Windows and then install previous version of Delphi and previous version of madExcept then everithing start to work. But I still do not sure about Delphi 10.3 Rio.
Honestly we do not use your madExcept in production versions. But I used it sometimes just to catch possible memory leaks during library units test.
I can purchase copy of your madCollection even just for this purpose, but then will it work properly for Delphi 10.3 Rio for "Report resource leaks" or I anyway will have to reinstall Windows and Delphi?
Re: RAD Studio 10.3 Support
Please try the latest beta build:
http://madshi.net/madCollectionBeta.exe (installer 2.8.8.3)
If it still doesn't work, try copying madExcept32.dll into your project folder. Does that help?
