Hi,
I'm having trouble downloading through Safari - the link http:// does not seem to exist. When I change it to https://, the download works (was this a typo?). However, Safari is flagging the download as containing a virus.
I'm feeling a bit confused about using this version of MadExcept. Is it still safe to use?
Best regards,
Alex
Download problems with 5.1.3
Re: Download problems with 5.1.3
I've just tried with "http://" and the madCollection download link on the main website works just fine for me:
http://madshi.net/madCollection.exe
Sounds like Safari is playing tricks on you.

Firefox 111.0.1 also plays some strange effects with the http download, even if I load the page (not the file itself) from https:
I can normally download the file if using https. But even when doing that, I get a Windows (11) security message, like here:
I'm nearly sure this is a false positive detection, like happened before with my own application. However, here's what Microsoft detects:

In situations like this, it's always advised to double check with www.virustotal.com. Microsoft security is unfortunately not reliable.
