Re: MadExcept Viewer Not Displaying Files.
Hi Madshi,
You were right. A simple reboot fixed the problem.
Thank you.

MadExcept Viewer Not Displaying Files.
All of a sudden the MadExcept Viewer has stopped accepting exception reports. When I try to drag and drop an exception report onto the viewer, it won't accept it.

Re: Windows Defender.
I've no experience with Windows Defender. But a google search leads to this which looks promising: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/security/defender-endpoint/apis-intro?view=o365-worldwide Can't help with that, though. Too much other stuff to do... Thanks, I'll check that out. = Steve

Windows Defender.
Hi Madshi, I have been using Mad products for many years. I'm not sure when I last updated them so there may be new features I'm not aware of. I wanted to ask if there is a way to read Windows Defender settings. I'd like to programmatically check the settings for any potential issues, ie. that could...

Thank You for MadExcept.
Hi Mathias, I just wanted to thank you for such a great product! The ability to send exception reports in the background is a tremendous feature for me as my customers don't like having dialog boxes popping up, requiring them to click a button to send a report. They prefer to have reports sent witho...

Re: Displaying Bug Report in an Application.
Thanks. Is there anyway to bypass the dialog and go straight to Show Bug Report?

Displaying Bug Report in an Application.
Hi madshi, I really like the MadExceptViewer application. It got me to wondering if there is a way that the bug report window can be displayed in an application. I'll explain what I mean. I have set up MadExcept to email bug reports to an email address. I wrote an application that regularly download...

Re: Email Password Keeps Changing.
Ok, so I found out where these settings are stored in the registry.
This is the original setting with the correct password:
And this is the setting after they mysteriously changed:

Email Password Keeps Changing.
I'm having a strange problem with MadExcept. It was working fine for a few days but then suddenly started changing the email password - to what I don't know. In the screenshot below you can see that the email details have been verified. I made these settings the default. OriginalPassword.png In the ...

Re: How Do I Use "AdditionalFields"?
So the only way to add this information is to create and register my own exception handler?madshi wrote:See the bottom of this page for information about how to remove items from the bug report header. In the same way you can also add information:

Re: How Do I Use "AdditionalFields"?
Yes, I want to add this information to the emailed reports so I have an idea of where they came from.madshi wrote:These fields are for HTTP uploading. I suppose you want to add something to bug report header? Or what is it you want to do exactly?
Thanks.

How Do I Use "AdditionalFields"?
This is a method I call when my application first starts: procedure TfrmMain.SetupMadExcept; var Settings: IMEModuleSettings; begin Settings := MESettings(); if Global.SystemRules.ErrorReporting = EXCEPTIONS_AUTOMATICALLY_SEND then begin Settings.AutoSend := True; Settings.SuspendThreads := False; S...
