I am completely new to hooking.I am learning reversing.I came across some ida plugins like quietriatt which uses detours.I feel madcodehook is pretty costly for me.

hi I am new to deours .
I tried to run nmake in the directory where detours was installed but could not get any lib files generated.

Can anybody tell me how to use detours on windows xp and compile detours code using devcpp.
