Perhaps Kaspersky thinks there is a trace of madCodeHook in de EXE file and starts working on it. But when the file is signed, Kaspersky trips and falls flat on its face. Fixed it
I managed to fix the problem by removing the digital signature from our service exe file.
As soon as I add the digital signature, Kaspersky blocks the file and Windows grinds to a halt.
Sigh.

More info
If I do NOT call InstallMadChook() from the installer everything installs and runs perfectly. The driver is listed with System Information. But then after reboot the DLL is injected in a few processes but then stops injecting for no reason, and the driver isn't listed with System Information anymore...

GINA is no option
Under Vista there is no more Gina or Notification Packages for that matter.

Hi all,
When I specify ShellSvcGroup with lpLoadGroupOrder I am sure that the service is started when the shell is started.

Hi all,
I was wondering how I could inject hooks during boot.
Specifically during startup of Winlogon.
Or does any-1 have an idea how to start a NT Service -before- the shell starts?
Any ideas?
