Is there a variable like %exceptClass% %exceptMsg% for the 'exception number' property as we'd like to add that to the subject too.

Success. Just passed in the tds file instead and tested in a VM. Thanks for your help.

Thanks for he quick reply. So just to confirm, there is no need to tell the BCB linker to generate a MAP file? EDIT: I use finalbuilder and it's calling madexcept with the command line: app.exe app.mes app.map with the output 'madExcept' patching succeeded. Was using the map file how it used to work...

I'm using BCb2007 and wonder if you can you confirm a few things for me please:
1. Does madExcept use a MAP file or the tds file?
2. Do I need to also ship the madexcept32.dll?

It would also be useful to change the email sender's name. At present it says: madexcept - <account anme I entered> and to use any of the Bug Report Header items as vars. Does MadExcept work equally well with BCBv5? I vaguely remember reading that BCB's call stack wasn't displayed.
