How to use madExcept in tracking sudden app. termination?
Hello everyone. I am making a program which receives packets from ICQ process, using madCHook. The problem occurs on some computers which have no apparent trouble-making software, and all have different ICQ versions. But, on those computers, if packets are received, the program suddenly terminates. ...

It's a shame
that some people use this amazing product to do viral/harmful tools with it... It just hurts. I've just looked at the link posted to AFX. One of their software is a code hook library. Makes me wonder... has any disassembled madchook.dll code has been stolen and put to AFX? I mean, how else would you...

Afraid it's happened again: McAffee condemned MadCHook...
Hello madshi and fellow developers... First it was an anti-virus system I myself use: Kaspersky. It identified an older version of MadCodeHookLib as viral. It was resolved, and everyone was happy... I have just been informed that the latest McAffee update identifies the latest MadCHook.dll as AFXroo...

madCHook v2.1.2.0 - ICQ.exe = 100% CPU Usage.
Hello madshi, and fellow developers. Some time ago I posted a link to a tool which is sort of a debugger for ICQ, called ICQMenace ( http://forum.madshi.net/viewtopic.php?t=19 ). ICQMenace comes with source included, and contains MadCodeHookLib v1.3.0.11. With this version, the tool works perfect. H...

A tool called ICQMenace. Using madCodeHookLib it can do: ICQMenace it's a tool that helps to understand ICQ protocol. It catches winsock.dll calls and dumps the transferred data. ICQMenace doesn't change enything in the program code or incoming/outgoing data stream. So you can see the ICQ packets in...

Anyhow, indeed, v2.1.1.0 of the DLL is not being recognized as trojan! Maybe you should post this on the main page of your site, that all users should upgrade as soon as possible...

By the way...
What newer version are you talking about? The same version madCHook.dll is being installed with the latest package (2.1.1.0). Perhaps you meant the previous version dll I have?

Virus Alert - madCHook.dll v2.1.0.6
Hello madshi, and fellow developers. This is my 1st ever post on this board, so I'd like to start by thanking madshi for the amazing set of tools to make Delphi programming perfect! And now to the reason I'm posting this. I have a Kaspersky Anti-Virus, and since today's (20.04.2004) virus-definition...
