What's in the madExcept report

There is clearly some magic going on which I don't understand. When run on the build PC, the exception report gives full trace back type information (even if i've blown away the map file.) When run on taget PC, the exception report gives very little - exe and some loader stuff. Where is the exceptio...

I did some more research. madExcept.HandleExceptions_ is false!!!!

I've included the appropriate x.mes file in the same directory as the BPG and DPR files I'm using. Is that not the correct place for it.

Al

Command Line Compilation

Suggestions please on how to coerce Make to build my exe correctly so that madExcept captures exceptions. These things I know: 1) some or all of madExcept is getting into the exe because I use it for other things besides exception handling & I looked at the map! 2) The conditional code that regi...

MemProof and MadCollection

We have had this discussion about a year ago and if I remember you said there was nothing to be concerned about. Now it is a bit more important for me. I'm going up for Veritest certification for verified for windows XP. I'm not sure what memory checks they do. Have you had anyone get verified by ve...

1. Cleaned house. 2. Installed latest release. 3. Fixed the routines' calling sequences to work with it. 4. Ran it with break points set at beginning of routines and task manager running (essential for your sanity) 5. Raised an exception. 6. BP's never were reached and taskmanager went to 98% utiliz...

At the time i did the testing I had installed the new stuff but had not uninstalled the old. I can't take the time at this point to work on it much more, will...

The latest release

I'm not sure what happened, but the latest release hangs my PC so badly that I can't even get task manager to display when an exception occurs (either when running from the IDE or independently.) My registered exception handler allows for three types of output - writing to an exisiting window, displ...
